Orlando Pirates star Patrick Maswanganyi has something to teach Mfundo Vilakazi. This is the opinion of Junior Khanye.
MFUNDO VILAKAZI SHOULD WATCH PATRICK MASWANGNAYI, SAYS KHANYE
“I don’t have a problem because the game needed a dribbling wizard, especially when you are playing a stereotyped team like how SuperSport was with every man behind the ball,” said Khanye as per iDiski Times.
“You need a dribbling wizard who’d surprise the opponents going forward. I think the likes of Mfundo Vilakazi can learn from Maswanganyi because he is more or less the same player. When I say the same player I don’t mean in terms of playing but the impact.
“They have the same body structure, they are both left footed but Tito is not speedy however his decision-making you can see his impact. There is a move that Pirates made that came from his dribbling and the defence had to back paddle then he penetrated and Mofokeng was supposed to finish.
“That ball started at the centre and you check his body language he looked static but he spun the ball, played it and moved quickly. They passed him then he played the ball inside, continued with his run, he skipped the ball and it fell for Mofokeng who should have scored.
“Mfundo is very talented but wasn’t developed properly according to me. The boy knows football but he was not developed properly,” the former Kaizer Chiefs winger concluded.

JOSE RIVEIRO PLEASED WITH GILBERTO
Orlando Pirates will be back in the CAF Champions League next season, and a new signing like Gilberto was expected.
According to the Spaniard Jose Riveiro, the 23-year-old winger with CAFCL experience at Petro Luanda last term, has integrated into the group rather well, thanks to his infectious personality and self-confidence.
“I can tell you that he settled very well in the group; he’s a very open guy, and our group, in that sense, is very special. We have a lot of young players that have common things with Gilberto,” Riveiro said as cited by FARPost.
“We are all trying to help him, first of all, express himself on the field and try to get the best of his capacity. But at the same time, help him to feel comfortable and that’s something we are doing very well in my opinion.
“I don’t know what word to use for his personality but he had the capacity to attract his teammates to get their attention from the first day. He’s a humble guy; there’s zero complaints about his behaviour in these three to four weeks that he’s been around,” the Orlando Pirates tactician concluded.
