South African rap superstar Cassper Nyovest believes Chicago Fire and Bafana Bafana defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi is destined for Europe after being impressed by the youngster’s rapid rise.
At just 20 years old, Mbokazi has established himself as one of South Africa’s brightest defensive talents. His composure on the ball, physical presence, defensive awareness and maturity have earned him widespread praise.
The young defender also caught the eye during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he delivered several impressive performances for Bafana Bafana, further boosting his growing reputation.
Cassper believes Mbokazi will not remain in the Betway Premiership for much longer and expects him to secure a move abroad in the near future.
“Mbokazi is gonna play one more season in South Africa, might not even finish it. I believe we’re gonna see him in Europe soon.
“I can’t believe that wall is only 20 years old, bro,” Nyovest wrote on Instagram.
With his stock continuing to rise, many believe Mbokazi has all the qualities needed to succeed at the highest level in Europe if he maintains his current development.
