Cash-in-Transit Robbery in Mamelodi Leaves Driver Injured, Suspects on the Run
A cash-in-transit driver was injured during a robbery on Saturday in Mamelodi, Pretoria.
The incident took place on Rammapudu Road, where a group of armed suspects targeted the vehicle and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.
According to a security firm, the suspects used a black Mercedes-Benz to ram into the cash van before carrying out the heist. The injured driver was transported to a nearby clinic for medical attention.
Authorities have launched a manhunt for the suspects as investigations continue.
