NORTHERN CAPE – The Upington Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit is investigating two separate cases of carjacking and armed robbery, which occurred in November and December 2024 respectively in the Postmasburg area. In both incidents, the victims were allegedly robbed of their belongings, including bank cards, which were later used to withdraw cash from local ATMs. After investigations were conducted, the police obtained footage of suspects as depicted on the pictures. The police are urging anyone who can assist with information about the suspects to come forward. The public is, however, warned not to approach them but contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Christoffel Van Zyl, on 076 016 4252 or report anonymously via the MySAPS App.
