Cape Town authorities are urgently trying to trace two men who may have vital information about a mass shooting that shattered the quiet of the Kanana informal settlement in Gugulethu early Saturday morning.
At around 3:30am, seven men were ambushed and gunned down while gathered in a kitchen. The attack was sudden and brutal, leaving the community stunned. Three others who were sleeping in different parts of the house at the time managed to survive the ordeal unharmed.
Investigators are now appealing for help in locating Linde Madolo and Loyiso Matinisi. While the two men are not considered suspects, police believe they might know something crucial about what led to the deadly attack.
The motive behind the shooting remains unknown, and authorities have not yet released the names of those who were killed. As the community grieves, many are left with questions and a growing sense of fear.
Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Madolo or Matinisi is urged to contact the investigating officer. All information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
