Media Statement CAPE TOWN CENTRAL – SAPS in central Cape Town is seeking the assistance of the public in tracing a homeless person’s family or next of kin. The person depicted in the attached photograph is known as Thabo Khumalo aka Lucky who also went by the surnames Moyo and Mupiriri. The mentioned person passed on due to natural causes on 22 February 2025 in Tennant Street, Cape Town. Efforts to locate his next of kin have thus far been unsuccessful, hence police are reaching out to the broader public or anyone who might have information regarding Thabo Khumalo, his relatives or any individual who might have known him, to come forward and contact Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or the investigating officer at Cape Town Central SAPS, Sergeant Shaun Isaacs on 079 522 1751.
