Media Statement POLOKWANE – The police were informed about a security guard who was killed at a hardware business premises at Dzingahe Village, Thohoyandou. The scene was visited on 29 December 2024 at 08:00. An African male person was found inside a guard room, both his legs and hands were tied up with a wire and he had multiple cut wounds on his body. Emergency Medical Services personnel were summoned to the scene and he was certified dead. There were some building material stolen from the business premises. A case of Murder and Burglary business was registered for further investigation. The deceased was identified as Emmanuel Mabasa (40), residing at Vhufuli village by his next of kin.
