Media Statement BULTFONTEIN – Police in Bultfontein have arrested a 30-year-old woman after a man (29) was allegedly fatally stabbed with a broken glass bottle in Phahameng, Bultfontein. It is alleged that on Saturday, 29 March 2025, at about 03:05 police were summoned to a complaint of a domestic dispute in Phahameng. On arrival, members found an adult male lying motionless on the ground, with a stab wound to the ear. According to information, an argument erupted between the couple when the female suspect allegedly stabbed her boyfriend with a broken bottle. He was declared dead on the scene by emergency services. The 30-year-old female suspect was subsequently arrested for murder. She will appear in the Bultfontein Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 31 March 2025. Ends
