A major breakthrough in the fight against property hijacking.
Following a continued enforcement operation led by the MMC for Public Safety, a suspect known as Lawrence has been arrested in connection with the hijacking of a property on Grosvenor Road in Bryanston.
During the operation, law enforcement officers recovered a firearm and live ammunition. Authorities also uncovered illegal electricity and water connections, which were immediately disconnected as part of restoring lawful control of the property.
City officials say this decisive action sends a clear message that lawlessness, property hijacking and related criminal activities will not be tolerated. Enforcement operations will continue without compromise as the City intensifies its crackdown on organised crime.
