BOSA demands answers on R408 million allocation to taxi owners
Build One South Africa (BOSA), led by Mmusi Maimane, has formally written to transport minister Barbara Creecy, seeking clarity on the government’s reported allocation of R408 million to taxi owners.
The party is questioning the rationale behind the payout, particularly in light of allegations that many taxi operators do not pay taxes. BOSA is also demanding transparency on how the funds will be distributed and the criteria for allocation.
