GAUTENG – On Tuesday 19 March 2024, Benoni Flying Squad members arrested two suspects and recovered drugs. At around 12:00, members were patrolling N12 at R555 when they pulled over a white Toyota bakkie with two occupants. Acting on information that the vehicle was transporting dagga from Mpumalanga the vehicle and occupants were searched. Members found two large bags of dagga with an estimated weight in excess of fifty kilograms. The two suspects were immediately arrested and the vehicle impounded. The suspects aged 39 and 50 will be appearing in the Springs Magistrate’s court facing charges of possession of drugs. Investigation continues. End
