Media Statement POLOKWANE – Bela Bela Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offenses (FCS) Unit is investigating a case of rape after a 38-year-old woman was allegedly raped at Leseding Bela Bela Location on Sunday, 14 April 2024. It is reported that the victim was walking with her boyfriend to his residence when they came across four unknown males. Two of them engaged in a physical altercation with her boyfriend, and one of the suspects pulled out a knife and held it against the girlfriend’s throat and forcefully dragged her to an isolated spot at unknown house, Leseding Bela Bela location. He forcefully undressed the victim, raped her, and released her afterwards. The police were notified, and a case of rape was opened.
