Kwaito legend Arthur Mafokate is being dragged on social media for an alleged R9.5 million fraud referring to the National Lotteries Commission (NLC).

It is believed music boss Arthur Mafokate has been seized by the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) after he was implicated in allegations of R9.5 million fraud referring to the National Lotteries Commission (NLC).
South Africans are fuming because the musician is the third high-profile celeb after Tsotsi actors Presley Chueneyagae and Terry Pheto who’re being investigated by the SIU in the previous couple of months.
A tweep @kgadi_ZA requested “Why is Arthur Mafokate not yet arrested?” after City Press revealed that the ka**ir hitmaker’s posh La Villa Rosa visitor home was allegedly bought with cash from the NLC, which was meant for the musician’s nonprofit organisation (NPO), the SA Arts and Development Association (Saada).

A press release launched by the SIU on Friday reveals Mafokate’s visitor home which reportedly value a whopping R6 million was seized.
“Saada applied for grant funding to assist unemployed youth in the poor and rural areas of the country, to impact skills in music, business, video, film production, dance, and the overall business of radio in South Africa.”
The SIU acknowledged that the investigation was into lottery cash amounting to R56.3 million and the NLC was reportedly knowledgeable of this mismanagement of funds by Mafokate’s former supervisor Brian Mokoena in an affidavit on the Midrand Police Station in 2019.

Tweeps have now revealed that the self-proclaimed “king of kwaito” Arthur Mafokate must also get arrested for allegedly abusing his former girlfriend, singer Busisiwe “CiCi” Thwala, who laid in opposition to him in 2019.
According to News24, the Kings of Joburg actress CiCi claimed Mafokate dragged her on the road in June 2017 and that she needed to endure a pelvic substitute process in consequence.
