Media Statement GAUTENG – On 24 November 2024, members of Anti-Gang Unit arrested one suspect and seized two firearms, one with a filled off serial number in Eldorado Park. It is reported that, the members acted on a tip off and upon arrival at the identified address, members spotted the suspect that fit the description given. He was searched together with the bag he was carrying. Inside the bag, two firearms with ammunition were recovered, a rifle and an pistol with a filled off serial number. The 49-year-old man was arrested and is expected to appear before court on 25 November 2024 for charges of possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition. Ends
