4 September 2024 – The South African U17 Men’s National Team (Amajimbos) will turn their focus to the second match of the FIFA U17 Talent Development Scheme (TDS) in Côte d’Ivoire when they face Tanzania on Thursday.
This after their opening 7-4 victory against Algeria last night.
Head Coach Vela Khumalo is excited about the encounter, as Tanzania will afford his side an opportunity to try out another formation.
“We are looking forward to this encounter because we seldom play against East African sides. We will be looking to correct our errors from the first match but also look at changing our formations as per the national playing philosophy of South Africa,” said Khumalo.
South Africa U17 will host Tanzania U17 on Thursday, 5 September 2024 at the Center Technique Nationale in Bingerville at 10h00 local time (SA time 12h00).
