NELSPRUIT – The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Major General (Dr) Zeph Mkhwanazi has strongly condemned the recent incidents subsequent to the recovery of lifeless bodies that were recently found dumped in the bushes. The call came shortly after two bodies of unknown persons were found next to the R37 Road, from Nelspruit towards Sabie/Lydenburg this morning, Thursday 31 October 2024 around 05:45. When the Police in Sabie arrived, they discovered that the bodies were in a decomposed state. Meanwhile a semi-decomposed body of an unknown person was found dumped in the bushes next to a high school at Nokaneng in Mmametlhake. This was on Sunday, 27 October 2024. The recovered body had multiple injuries and partially burnt. An investigation by the Police regarding the two gruesome discoveries has already began with the hope to arrest the suspects as well as to locate the families of the victims. Anyone who might have a family member who went missing, wearing similar clothing like the pieces of clothing (as in the pictures) can immediately contact the Police at Mmametlhake, and pictures thereof were circulated. Meanwhile the Acting Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Major General (Dr) Zeph Mkhwanazi indicated that the team of investigators will work around the clock to bring perpetrators thereof to book. “We cannot allow this kind of situation whereby people are killed like flies hence we will ensure that they are hunted down and arrested to face the full might of the law,” said the General.
