Media Statement WESTERN CAPE – The Hawks Bellville based Serious Commercial Crime Investigation team have on, 02 July 2024, arrested Nomfuneko Tsutsu(51) for fraud on a warrant. Her arrest follows after she failed to make a court appearance in April 2024. She was out on R30 000-00 bail. It is reported that Tsutsu was awarded a tender by PetroSA to renovate schools in the Eastern Cape to the value of 23 million rands. She allegedly misappropriated funds and failed to render services that were required. The accused was using a company name known as Golden Awards Pty Ltd when she applied.
Tsutsu will appear at the Bellville Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on 03 July 2023.
