The Royal Kingdom of AbaThembu has issued an important clarification, withdrawing all letters and statements that were circulated on the 30th and 31st, especially those concerning KuGompo. According to the Kingdom, these communications were shared without proper identification, official designation, or verified authority.
To avoid confusion, the Kingdom emphasized that only statements released by its officially recognized representatives should be considered valid. These include communications from the King’s Personal Spokesperson, Mayibuye Melisizwe Mandela, as well as Advocate Mphahlwa, who serves as an advisor to both the Kingdom and the King.
Moving forward, any public statement—particularly those related to KuGompo—must clearly state the name of the individual issuing it along with their official role within the Kingdom.
The Kingdom also made it clear that any information shared outside these approved channels should be regarded as invalid and does not reflect its official position.
Members of the public and the media are urged to rely only on verified and authorized sources to help prevent the spread of misinformation.
