A 60 year old man is to appear before a Senwabarwana magistrate court on Monday for stabbing his 43 year old son to death with a sharp object on Thursday (01 January 2026)
According to police the son was not on good terms with his mother and father.
It is alleged that the son, upon his arrival at his parents’ homestead, he was carrying his death weapon.
Police say a heated argument erupted after confronting his parents, and the father overpowered him and used the object on him. The 43 year old died on the scene.
On another matter, a 56 year old Tzaneen man is to apply for a bail application after shooting his 31 year old son 5 times.
The son is currently receiving treatment at Letaba Hospital.
He will reappear before a Nkowa Nkowa magistrate court on Tuesday ( 6 January 2026).
