POLOKWANE – A 30-year-old male suspect is due to appear before Phalala Magistrate’s Court for murder that occurred at Vianeen village on 09 February 2025 at about 22:46 Preliminary police investigations revealed that the victim was from a local tavern at Vianeen village, when he was followed by unknown man, a heated argument ensued between the two and as a result, the victim sustained serious stab wounds on his forehead and on his arm. He was taken to Nkidikitlana Clinic, where he was declared dead. Thorough investigations, led to a 30-year-old, suspect, the deceased’s cousin, being arrested and charged with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, which later turned to murder. Investigations continue. Ends
