POLOKWANE – A 35-year-old Salon owner and customers were at the business premises when an unknown African male person entered the premises with a panga in his hand and demanded money on Wednesday evening, 25 December 2024. An undisclosed amount of cash and two cellphones were taken from the owner and five cellphones from customers and the suspect fled the scene on foot. The owner of the salon informed her uncle who both followed the direction of the suspect. They came across a white Volkswagen Golf with GP number plates. The complainant managed to identify one of them as the suspect who robbed them. They both fled but one of them, a 17-year-old boy was arrested by the community and handed to the Police for further investigation. He will be facing business robbery charges and will appear soon in Marble Hall Magistrate Court.
