Former SABC Sports presenter and commentator Owen Ndlovu has allegedly been kidnapped by a group of armed men in Katlehong on Tuesday evening.

According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred at approximately 20:00. A group of unidentified gunmen reportedly arrived and forcibly abducted Ndlovu directly in front of his wife.

The suspects then forced him into the back of his vehicle before fleeing the scene.

In a recent development, local authorities tracking the perpetrators discovered Ndlovu’s bakkie abandoned in Walkerville.

However, the whereabouts of the former broadcaster and the motive behind his sudden abduction remain unknown.

Law enforcement agencies and specialised crime units are actively investigating the matter.
