POLOKWANE: Motorists travelling along the R521 between Polokwane and Dendron are urged to exercise caution following a truck accident near Rita.

The Department of Transport and Community Safety has confirmed that the Volvo truck which overturned is still blocking the roadway.

Traffic officers are currently on the scene conducting point duty and assisting motorists to pass safely along the shoulder of the road.

Motorists are advised to reduce their speed, approach the area with caution and cooperate with law enforcement officers managing traffic at the scene.
