International RnB star Tamar Braxton Set to Headline Ndlala Grandeur Season 1 in South Africa, Ricco Ross to Co-Host
Ndlala Arena has officially announced its most ambitious live music event yet, locking in Grammy-nominated R&B star Tamar Braxton to headline the opening night of Ndlala Grandeur Season 1.
The four-night musical showcase will take place from 16 to 19 December 2026, cementing Pretoria’s premier intimate venue as a top-tier destination for international entertainment.
Adding to the star-studded affair, acclaimed American actor Ricco Ross—currently starring as Horace Bellarie in Tyler Perry’s Netflix hit Beauty in Black—will make his first-ever visit to South Africa to serve as the red carpet and show co-host for the event’s first two nights.
Building on the success of two previous standalone editions, Ndlala Grandeur Season 1 expands the concept into a multi-day experience.
Attendees can expect a premium blend of high-end hospitality, fine dining curated by top chefs, and world-class acoustics within Ndlala Arena’s luxury theatre setting.

The lineup brings together seasoned veterans of global music and television:Tamar Braxton who is a household name in R&B, Braxton began her career with her sisters in The Braxtons before launching a successful solo career.
Her 2013 chart-topping album Love and War earned three of her four career Grammy nominations. Beyond her music, Braxton is a celebrated television personality, having starred in Braxton Family Values, co-hosted The Real (earning two Daytime Emmy nods), and won Celebrity Big Brother Season 2.
Ricco Ross, wiith a career spanning forty years, Ross first broke through in James Cameron’s 1986 sci-fi masterpiece Aliens.
A classically trained Shakespearean actor, his extensive television resume includes Mission: Impossible, ER, and P-Valley.
His recent role in Beauty in Black has catapulted him back into the global spotlight, with the series dominating Netflix’s Global Top 10 for seven consecutive weeks.
Full ticket packages, supporting lineups, and culinary menus for the four-day grandeur experience are expected to be rolled out in the coming weeks.
