BREAKING NEWS: Taxi businessman Joe Sibanyoni has made explosive allegations about an alleged drug operation and a network of suspected hitmen linked to a farm owned by Mswazi Msibi, claiming the property became a hub for criminal activity and that he was forced into hiding after fearing for his life.

Sibanyoni alleges that Katiso Molefe moved a major drug operation to Msibi’s farm, where it could allegedly operate with little interference.

His claims paint a disturbing picture of a property that, according to him, became a meeting point for people linked to the criminal underworld.

However, the allegations have not been independently verified.

Sibanyoni Claims Farm Became Criminal Hub

According to Sibanyoni, the farm was being used for illicit activities and attracted several high profile figures.

He alleges that the situation became increasingly dangerous after his relationship with Msibi deteriorated.

It was during this period, Sibanyoni claims, that Msibi allegedly brought in Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala and Molefe, along with a group of feared hitmen known locally as izinkabi.

Sibanyoni says the development dramatically changed the atmosphere around the property.

What had previously been a place he could visit allegedly became somewhere he feared for his safety.

‘Spears Have Been Sharpened’

The warning that Sibanyoni says ultimately convinced him that he was in serious danger came from people close to him.

According to his account, friends who had visited the farm contacted him afterwards with a stark message.

“Hey man, things are bad; spears have been sharpened in that place.”

For Sibanyoni, the warning was not merely a figure of speech.

He claims the presence of Matlala, Molefe and alleged hitmen convinced him that the threat against him had escalated.

The businessman subsequently went into hiding, according to his account.

Matlala and Molefe Named in Allegations

Sibanyoni’s allegations place Matlala and Molefe at the centre of the developments he describes.

He characterised Matlala as a feared figure in Mamelodi during a period he described as being marked by widespread gun violence and assassinations.

Molefe, meanwhile, was allegedly feared in Soweto.

Sibanyoni claims their involvement intensified his concerns because of the reputations he attributes to both men.

The allegations are serious, but they remain claims made by Sibanyoni and should not be treated as established criminal findings without independent evidence or confirmation from the relevant authorities.

Sibanyoni Breaks His Silence

The businessman says his decision to speak publicly was driven by concerns about what he believes was happening around Msibi’s farm and the danger he allegedly faced.

His account suggests that a personal dispute eventually developed into a far more serious confrontation, with allegations of organised criminal activity and an alleged plot against him.

Sibanyoni has not provided publicly verified evidence in the statement to substantiate all of the allegations.

The claims nevertheless raise questions about the activities allegedly taking place at the property and the identities of those who may have been involved.

Questions Now Hang Over the Farm

Sibanyoni’s allegations place a spotlight on Msibi’s farm and the people he claims were associated with it.

If substantiated, the claims would point to a potentially serious criminal network involving alleged drug trafficking and contract killings.

At this stage, however, those claims remain allegations.

The central questions are whether law enforcement authorities are aware of the alleged activities, whether any investigation has been launched and whether evidence exists to support Sibanyoni’s account.

For now, Sibanyoni says he chose to break his silence because he believed the alliances allegedly formed around the farm had created a threat serious enough to force him into hiding.

His explosive allegations are likely to draw further scrutiny as questions grow over what allegedly happened behind the gates of Msibi’s property.
