Kaizer Chiefs confirm loan of five players
Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that five players will spend the new season away from the club on loan.
Two senior players, midfielder Samkelo Zwane and goalkeeper Bontle Molefe, have joined Cape Town-based Hope FC. The pair will compete in the Motsepe Foundation Championship under the Premier Soccer League.
It is Zwane’s second loan stint. He spent last season on loan at Siwelele FC but he could not break into the team. Chiefs have also sent three academy players out on loan to gain valuable first-team experience elsewhere.
Ofentse Kgosana and Vicky Mkhawana will spend the season with Real Natives in KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga. Real Natives were previously known as Casric Stars. Mkhwana was with Kruger United in the same division last season.
Meanwhile, Sfiso Simba will remain in Gauteng after joining Gomora FC for the season.
The moves, according to the club, are aimed at giving the young players regular playing opportunities and valuable experience as they continue developing their careers.
