For years, South Africans have watched Nozipho Hlophe on their television screens as one of the familiar faces of Life With Felix Hlophe. Now, the reality television personality is celebrating a milestone that reaches far beyond entertainment.

Nozipho Hlophe has been named Best Influential Woman of the Year 2026 in South Africa and has also received international recognition as a 2026 Queen Book International Award recipient in India. The achievement marks a major moment in her personal journey and growing influence as a health advocate and community leader.

The Mzansi Magic personality appears alongside her brother, popular Durban radio presenter Felix Hlophe, on the hit reality series. While viewers know her for her television appearances, Nozipho says her greatest mission has always been to inspire hope through her own experiences.

Speaking about the recognition, she reflected on a journey shaped by resilience rather than hardship.

“My journey has been one of resilience, courage, unwavering faith and purpose. In 2015, I was diagnosed with multiple life changing health conditions. It was a season filled with hospital visits, uncertainty and two years of living on oxygen. But I chose faith over fear.”

She said she refused to allow her diagnosis to define her future.

“Today, I stand as a reminder that a diagnosis does not define destiny. I hope my story encourages women everywhere to believe that they are stronger than their circumstances.”

Nozipho said her mission is to empower, uplift and inspire people facing their own personal battles.

“I represent victory, grace and unshakable strength. I want people to see that it is possible to rise above adversity and embrace life with purpose.”

Her work extends beyond television. In 2018, she founded the For the Sick By the Sick Foundation (FSBS), an organisation dedicated to supporting people living with chronic illnesses through education, advocacy and community outreach.

She explained that her own health struggles became the driving force behind the organisation’s work.

“My personal journey through chronic illness awakened a passion for health advocacy and community empowerment. Having experienced the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual challenges that come with life changing medical conditions, I understand how important compassionate support and accurate health education can be.”

Rather than remaining silent, she chose to become a voice for people whose stories are often overlooked.

Through motivational speaking, educational workshops, awareness campaigns and outreach programmes, Nozipho continues to encourage individuals to take charge of their health while reminding them that setbacks can become the beginning of a greater purpose.

For her, the latest recognition represents far more than personal success.

“Being recognised as Best Influential Woman of the Year 2026 is more than an individual accomplishment. It reflects the impact that compassion, perseverance and service can have on the lives of others.”

She said receiving the Queen Book International Award has broadened her outlook and connected her with leaders from around the world who share a commitment to creating meaningful change.

“It has reinforced my belief that acts of compassion and service know no boundaries, and that one person’s testimony can inspire hope across nations.”

Looking ahead, Nozipho plans to expand the reach of the FSBS Foundation by building partnerships and developing sustainable programmes that provide education, emotional support and practical assistance to people living with chronic illnesses.

She also hopes to create more opportunities that empower women, encourage young leaders and inspire communities to believe that resilience has the power to transform lives.

For Nozipho Hlophe, the international honours are not simply awards on a shelf. They represent the extraordinary journey of a woman who turned years of pain into a platform for hope, proving that even life’s toughest battles can become the foundation for lasting impact.
