Neo Rapoo has finally broken his silence after completing a dream move to Orlando Pirates, leaving Siwelele FC supporters emotional with a heartfelt farewell message that has already tugged at the heartstrings of many fans.
The talented wing-back, regarded as one of the club’s brightest academy products, bid an emotional farewell to the team that helped shape his career before embarking on what could be the biggest chapter of his football journey.
Rapoo’s departure had long been expected, but the reality of losing one of the club’s fan favourites hit home when he released an open letter thanking everyone who played a role in his development.
“From the very first day I walked through the doors of this club, I was welcomed with belief, support, and an opportunity to grow both as a footballer and as a person,” wrote Rapoo.
“Over the years, this club has become much more than just a team to me; it has become a family and a place filled with memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.”
The defender reserved special praise for head coach Lehlohonolo Seema, whom he credits for helping transform him into the player that caught Orlando Pirates’ attention.
“Thank you for your guidance, trust, leadership, and belief in my abilities. Your support and wisdom have had a huge impact on my career,” Rapoo said.

Rapoo also made sure not to forget the loyal Siwelele supporters who stood behind him throughout his journey.
