DA Tswane Mayoral Candidate Cilliers Brink says the suspension of City of Tshwane CFO Gareth Mnisi should be followed by a full disciplinary process rather than rushing to fire him.
He argues the process must “be completed” to uncover all relevant information, including possible links to wider corruption networks within the City of Tshwane.
Brink adds he wants access to Mnisi’s communications as part of the investigation, warning that letting him leave too soon could mean losing valuable evidence.
