Award-winning queer DJ duo called The Billionaires delivered a special gift of love to the world during the month of February.

The Billionaires which is formed by lovers Ngcebo Mdima from KwaMashu in Durban in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) and his boyfriend Karabo Motlogelwa from Orange Farm in Johannesburg released their highly anticipated new single, “Umaqondana,” with soulful vocalist Nomanzi from Pietermaritzburg.
The song is co-produced by Khayzinho who is not new in the music industry.
“Umaqondana translates from IsiZulu to an exuberant celebration of finding “the one,” it is more than just a track but a movement. The song’s core message—“stand up and clap your hands, don’t be jealous cause I have finally found the one, my true love, finally I have met my soulmate” serves as an anthem for anyone who has ever triumphed in the journey of the heart,” said Ngcebo.
As the industry’s first ever queer couple duo, The Billionaires have built their career on the pillars of unity and inclusivity, with “Umaqondana,” they lean into their signature, Afro House roots to create a rhythmic sanctuary for lovers everywhere.
