Power FM radio station has announced that former Umkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) Member of Parliament (MP) Collen Makhubela has joined their station.

Makhubela joins Power FM shortly after it was recently left by Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlonzi who resigned from the station to join Thabo Mbeki Foundation.
In a statement released, Power FM said it welcomes Makhubela. Makhubela’s contract with Power FM will officially begin on 1 March.
This development comes after the station recently lost broadcaster Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, who had also resigned from Parliament — previously serving under the EFF before joining the station
The Gauteng based commercial talk station Power FM 98.7 further announced new line-up changes to its programming.
Following Ndlozi’s departure from the station, City Press editor-in-chief Mondli Makhwanya will succeed him and host Power Talk between 09:00-12:00 weekdays.
Former member of Parliament and speaker Collen Makhubela will host Power Perspective weeknights between 20:00-00:00.
Young and vibrant Wits University Representative council President Kefentse Mkhari will host Power Zone from midnight till 3 am.
Archivist, human rights advocate and former executive of Nelson Mandela Foundation Sello Hatang will host Power Weekend on Sundays between 09:00-12:00
Renowned actress and media personality Lerato Mvelase will host Power Perspective The Sunday edition from 21:00-00:00
Following in her father’s footsteps is Clementine Mabena daughter of the late radio legend Bob Mabena. She will host Power Weekend from 18:00-22:00. The rest of the line up remains unchanged.
