The police in Gauteng have expressed serious concern over a disturbing video circulating on social media, showing a person being attacked by a male and female while seated in a motor vehicle.
The police strongly condemn the sharing of the video, which appears to depict a gruesome murder.
Members of the public and social media users are urged not to share, forward, or repost the footage.
Gauteng Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni, has tasked a senior detective to determine whether the incident occurred in Gauteng and to ensure the perpetrators are arrested and brought to justice.
