After taking a break from music scene,singer, actress and presenter Nomcebo Dot is back by popular demand.
Real name Nomcebo Mthethwa from Empangeni in the North of KwaZulu Natal (KZN), Nomcebo Dot is making a comeback with an album titled My Journey.

“I took a break to focus on personal growth and explore different creative avenues. “The Journey” is my debut album, and it’s a reflection of my experiences and growth, and prophetic worshiper . I worked with various producers from all over Africa, and the album blends Gospel with other genres. It’s a soulful and introspective project that showcases my evolution as an artist,” she said.

Nomcebo said My Journey was more about personal and vulnerable.
“This album is more personal and vulnerable. I’ve experimented with different sounds and themes, making it a true representation of my artistry. Now that I know my identity, things are different. I’m equipped by the kingdom of God for a greater mission and purpose, walking through life with God has changed me and this project is true reflection of that,” she said.
Nomcebo Dot who is a qualified Actress, Film and TV Director said acting on SABC 1’s Amalanga Awafani drama where she was playing the role Nodoli was a blessing.
“I auditioned for Uzalo and got the role. Amalanga Awafani I saw auditions online and took of leap of faith only to find they’ve been looking for someone that actually looks like a doll in real life, I did auditions, self tapes and that’s how I landed the biggest role in my acting career.
Talking about her future plans, she said:
“I see myself growing as an artist, releasing more music, and exploring international collaborations as Iam scheduled to tour the world this year. Performing in Dubai and nominated in more than 7 countries outside of South Africa.”
