Mlindo The Vocalist has denied being held hostage by business mogul My Sol.
Real name, Lindokuhle Mgenge, Mlindo The Vocalist the has denied reports he was allegedly held hostage by North West businessman, Solly Soka Madibela who is known as My Sol after they failed to honour their booking.
The allegations emanates from an online publication that claimed that Mlindo and his team were held hostage by My Sol after they failed to perform in his event where they were booked.
“We would like to address the recent article published by Yanos Magazine and any other publication regarding our team being non-appearance at an event in Polokwane. The allegations that our team were held hostage by My Sol are entirely false and unfounded,” the statement reads.
Mlindo said that the reason for our non-appearance was due to the clash of booking time slots.
“It was not to due to the team being held hostage. The clash of the time slots prevented us from arriving on time from Haartebees to Polokwane and it was prior l communicated to the promoter that had booked Mlindo and was offered a full refund which was unfortunately forcefully declined.
“We would like to extend out sincerest apologies to all parties involved for any inconvenience caused by non-appearance. We kindly request that blogs and media outlets refrain from sharing false information regarding My Sol and Mlindo. Please note that the team will not hesitate to take legal action against any further dissemination of these false allegations,” he said.
