The radio presenter who is accused of raping another presenter was granted bail.
The 42-year-old male accused appeared in the Moutse Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 8 January 2026, for a bail application on a charge of rape.
Limpopo Police spokesperson Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba said the accused was granted bail of R2,000.
“The case has been postponed to 16 March 2026 for further proceedings. The alleged incident occurred on Friday, 26 December 2025.
“A 39-year-old local radio presenter reported that she was raped by her colleague and ex-boyfriend, who is also a radio presenter.”
