Antonio Banderas is one proud father. The Spanish actor shared his joy after his daughter, Stella Banderas, tied the knot with her longtime love, Alex Gruszinsky, in Spain on October 18.
Taking to Instagram, Banderas expressed how special the day was for their family. “The wedding of my daughter Stella has turned into a heartfelt family reunion, emotional, joyful, and full of laughter,” he wrote. “Thank you to everyone who made this possible.”
The wedding brought together loved ones, including Stella’s mother, actress Melanie Griffith. Although Melanie hasn’t yet spoken publicly about the ceremony, she had previously celebrated her daughter’s engagement, sharing that Stella and Alex’s love story began back in preschool.
Stella, who has followed in her parents’ artistic footsteps with her fragrance brand Lightbound and her work in film, announced her engagement to Alex in August 2024, posting a joyful photo with the caption, “I get to hang out with my favorite person on earth forever!”
Banderas’ warm message reflects the enduring bond he shares with both Stella and his ex-wife, Melanie. Despite their divorce, the pair have remained close friends and dedicated co-parents. “Everything that happened between her and me for 20 years was beautiful,” Banderas once said.
