Hundreds of mourners gathered in Sana’a on Tuesday to honor 31 journalists who lost their lives in recent Israeli airstrikes. Coffins draped with flags were carried out of al-Shaab Mosque, accompanied by solemn honor guards as families and colleagues wept and paid their final respects.
The strikes, which came after a Houthi-launched drone reached Israeli territory, devastated parts of the Yemeni capital, hitting residential areas, a military site, and even a petrol station. Among the many lives lost were reporters who had been documenting the ongoing conflict.

The tragedy underscores the growing toll of the war, where civilians and journalists continue to bear the brunt of violence as the fighting between Israel and the Houthis intensifies.
