With just 12 weeks to go until his highly anticipated concert, Cassper Nyovest has found fresh motivation not from fans’ cheers, but from online criticism.
The rapper came under fire after his recent performance at the Scorpion Kings Live concert, where social media users directed harsh body-shaming comments his way. While the crowd enjoyed his set, Cassper later admitted that the negative remarks hit him harder than expected.
“The comments over the weekend got to me. It’s time to lose weight and get into shape for FillUpToyotaStadium.”
Rather than allowing the negativity to break him down, Cassper chose to use it as fuel. He acknowledged that the hurtful words gave him the push he needed to commit to change.
“It hurt my feelings a little bit, but sometimes that’s what you need… a little push,” he said, adding that body-shaming often reflects the insecurities of those doing the shaming.
Turning criticism into action, Cassper vowed to “take the lemons and make lemonade.” He has since embarked on a strict lifestyle overhaul, cutting out sugar and carbs while following a carnivore diet. His goal is to be in peak condition by the time he steps onto the Toyota Stadium stage.
“It’s not easy staying away from things that you like,” he admitted in another video. “I’m at the age where I’m thinking about how to fix the problem, but you don’t always know what’s healthy and what’s not.”
Despite the challenges, Cassper has received an outpouring of encouragement from fans and fellow celebrities who are rooting for him to succeed. For him, what started as a painful moment has now become an opportunity to reclaim control, improve his health, and show up stronger than ever for his supporters
