Thirty remarkable women have been named as the Top 30 finalists for Mrs South Africa 2025, following a competitive semi-final round held at Hotel Sky in Sandton.
The three-day event, which ran from September to 9 featured empowerment workshops, interviews, and judging sessions designed to test not only beauty but leadership, confidence, and community impact. Contestants participated in swimwear judging, closed interviews, and personal development sessions before culminating in a glamorous showcase on Friday night.
Mrs South Africa CEO Joani Jacobs emphasized that the pageant has evolved into more than a beauty competition, describing it as “an MBA of life.” Under her leadership, the platform has become a space for mentorship and empowerment, equipping women with the skills to grow personally and lead within their communities.
“Every entrant brings a unique story,” Jacobs said. “Our role is to amplify those stories of courage, hope, and purpose. This year’s semi-finalists have truly transformed, stepping into leadership roles that will inspire and influence change around them.”
The showcase was hosted by television personality and entrepreneur Ayanda Thabethe, with entertainment from singer-songwriter Lloyd Cele. Reigning Mrs South Africa, Erin-Jane Miller, also addressed the contestants, encouraging them to embrace the lessons offered by the program and aim for greater heights.
The announcement of the Top 30 finalists was met with excitement and anticipation. Each woman represents resilience, ambition, and a commitment to making a positive impact in her community. The finalists will now advance to the final stages of the competition later this year, where one will be crowned Mrs South Africa 2025.
