Two men were wounded Friday evening when gunmen opened fire at the busy Nyanga taxi rank in Cape Town.
Police say the attack targeted a disciplinary officer and his security detail. Both victims were taken for medical treatment, and investigators have opened two counts of attempted murder.
The shooters fled the scene, and their identities remain unknown. Authorities have not yet confirmed a motive and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
