Three men lost their lives in a suspected vigilante-style attack in the Samora Machel township of Cape Town, sparking calls from authorities for public assistance in identifying those behind the killings.
The bodies of the victims, aged between 26 and 35, were found early Tuesday morning in separate spots within the C Section informal settlement. According to initial reports, the men had been accused by some community members of being armed robbers before they were violently attacked.
While autopsy results are still pending, early indications suggest the men were beaten to death.
