12-year-old boy missing after going to outdoor toilet in Mayville, KZN
Pictured is 12-year-old Simphiwe Knowledge Mkhize, who disappeared on Friday after leaving his home to use an outdoor toilet.
According to his aunt, Simphiwe was feeling unwell and had stayed home from school. Around 11h30 AM, he told his family he was going to the outdoor toilet but has not been seen since.
Despite a thorough search of the informal settlement along Nubian Road in Mayville, KZN, there has been no sign of him.
Simphiwe was last seen wearing a navy long-sleeve shirt, grey shorts, and white sandals. He is a Grade 6 learner at Nsimbini Primary School in Cato Manor. A missing person case has been opened at the Cato Manor SAPS under reference number 288/05/2025.
