Mchunu visits police academy after rape complaint filed against trainer
Minister of Police Senzo Mchunu visited the Police Academy in Tshwane today, where a 20-year-old woman has filed a case of rape against a trainer.
The alleged incident occurred when the trainer reportedly locked the office door and sexually assaulted the trainee.
The victim has been provided with psychological support, and internal disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against the accused officer. The officer has been arrested and removed from his position.
