KIMBERLEY – On Saturday, 05 April 2025 at approximately 14:20, Loxton SAPS received a notification via the Northern Cape E2 group of a stolen Mercedes Benz Vitto that was presumed stolen in Franschoek in the Western Cape. The Station Commander of Loxton SAPS, who was off-duty when the report came through, placed himself on duty and together with his members proceeded to R356 gravel road between Fraserburg and Loxton. While patrolling the R356 road, the members noticed the vehicle fitting the description, approximately 16 kilometres from Loxton on the Carnarvon road.
