Media Statement BRONVILLE – Police in Bronville are appealing to members of the public for any information after an unknown African male was found lying unconscious with severe multiple injuries in Bronville. It is alleged that on Wednesday, 12 March 2025, at about 22:30 police were summoned to a scene near a house in Philander Street, Bronville. Upon arrival, they found an unidentified African male estimated to be aged between 20 and 30, lying unconscious in the street. The victim had multiple sjambok marks on his face and body. He was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. He later succumbed to his injuries. The deceased person is dark in complexion. He was wearing a maroon t-shirt, a black suit, and a pair of grey and white sneakers found next to his body. No suspects have been arrested at this stage. Investigation is still ongoing.
