Patriotic Alliance leader Gayton McKenzie has emphasized the critical need for collaboration between the United States and South Africa, warning that if they fail to work together, both nations stand to lose.
However, he stressed that South Africa would suffer the greatest consequences.
McKenzie highlighted the dire situation in South Africa, noting that while America does not face a shortage of doctors, the country is grappling with an increasing number of unemployed medical graduates.
He also underscored the essential role of the U.S. government’s PEPFAR initiative, warning that without it, the situation could worsen, leading to more deaths as HIV/AIDS continues to devastate communities.
“People are going to die,” McKenzie declared, emphasizing the urgency for international support.
