On 02/03/2025, in Kroondal, North West, SAPS officers arrested a Zimbabwean national shortly after he hijacked a white Toyota Dyna truck from a second-hand car dealership.
The truck was tracked heading towards Rustenburg and then Magaliesburg, with the dealership owner and local farmers assisting in the pursuit.
The truck was intercepted near Maanhaarand, and the suspect is expected to face charges of theft and possession of a suspected stolen vehicle in court.
