Two alleged murder suspects of a traffic officer remanded in custody for further investigations

The Provincial Inspector Patrick Mbulaheni Netshidzivhani aged 56 year old attached to Mutale Traffic Station.  The deceased was initially reported missing after he left his home at Hamakhuvha village on Sunday, 12 January 2025.
The deceased reportedly went to Khunguni mountain where he conducts his routine fitness exercises and could not came back home.
The matter was reported to the police and a missing person file was registered. A search was initiated instantly and the vehicle belonging to the traffic officer was found which led to the arrests of the suspects.
The suspects Munyai Roshidzwa Vhutshilo aged 25 years old and Nekhubvi Muano aged 21 years old appeared on the 16 January 2025 in the Magistrate Court.
The two suspects are facing Murder and remain in custody. Case has been postponed till the 03 March 2025 for further investigations.
