POLOKWANE – The police in Malipsdrift under Sekhukhune District are urging the members of the community to assist in reuniting an elderly missing woman with her family. Mapula Rinkie Thobejane aged 71, allegedly went missing during the month of December 2018 at Mafefe, Ngwaname village. The family of the missing person made efforts to locate her at relatives, friends and surrounding areas but were not successful until the matter was reported to the police on Tuesday 07 January 2025. Mapula is reported to be a Traditional Healer who likes to wear traditional clothes together with beads across her neck, hands and body. The type of clothes Mapula was wearing at the time of her disappearance are unknown. Anyone with information that can assist with the investigations should contact the Investigating Officer Warrant Officer Mishack Mabotha on 0768914132 or Crime Stop number 0860010111 or nearest police station or MySAPSApp. Police investigations are continuing.
