Media Statement FREE STATE – The 32-year-old suspect charged with murder of Matsitsa Moloi(37) of Moeding Village at Tseseng is expected to appear before Tseseng Magistrate court on 31 December 2024 on a charge of murder.
It’s alleged that on 29 December 2024 at about 19:30, the body of Matsitsa Moloi was found lying inside a donga at Moeding Village with multiple injuries. Some community members alleged to have seen the suspect with blood-stained clothes on the same day coming from that area. He was indeed later traced and found by police at local hospital discharged but was immediately arrested and charged with murder. The suspect also sustained a stab wound on his upper body. The motive behind the killing is not yet known. A case of murder is being investigated.
